Feature #186 CRaig Atkinson “a place to record change”

Craig Atkinson is a photographer, publisher and lecturer based in Southport (UK). In 2005 Atkinson founded Café Royal Books, a publishing house specialising in publishing limited run photobooks and zines. The work he publishes, in general, focuses on aspects of change, be it architectural, geographical, social or otherwise; generally but not exclusively the UK. Atkinson’s own work deals with a similar subject area; using the street or urban experience as a place to record change, with the inclusion of Brutalist estates.
