Dubravko Grakalic, is based in Samobor, Croatia He studied political science at the University of Zagreb. In this feature his work shows part of his lifelong project, “Passer-by.” Photographing random encounters, people who come and go, Dubravko seeks answers to everyday questions. In any case, he captures the moment shooting on the street, a situation in which we have only once chance, no matter how many times we repeat. Dubravko is not a commercial photographer, but he will not turn down temporary work, or publishing his work in books or magazines. Dubravko has front covers in detective novels, and several posts in photographic magazines and books in Croatia, the UK and USA.
Dubravko likes to use pocketable 35mm camera such as Olympus, Leica and Rollei. He was born in 1964 in the Istrian city of Pula and has been engaged in photography since the age of 12. Dubravko is currently working on new work which will be shown on the web.
