Feature #21 Gary Cohen “Strangers on the street”

Gary Cohen lives and works in London, and much of his photography shows the people living in the city in and around him.

His passion for photography started when he was first given a camera as a child. Gary went through many phases of photo snapping, starting with taking photos of friends and family, to inanimate objects, to architecture, and as of late… strangers on the street. He’s also gone through the evolution of a photographer when relating to equipment, starting with a Minolta Maxxum which evolved into a Canon 10D and peaked at the Canon 1D Mk III, only to retreat back to a Holga, and now an iPhone 4. Gary Cohen is currently a full time Adobe Systems software engineer.
